The Clyde River Cottage is not absolute waterfront. It is just a 30-metre walk to the jetty/waterfront area which is for your use during your stay. Between the Cottage and the Clyde River is our house.

Where are the nearest shops?

Batemans Bay is just 10km from the Cottage and takes less than 10 minutes to drive. It is a major shopping centre with supermarkets, specialty stores, cafes, restaurants, cinema and just about any other services you require.

We provide you with a list of our favourite cafes and restaurants in the Cottage information booklet.

There is a small cafe in Nelligen itself. It is a short drive across the bridge, or you can take a leisurely stroll and reward yourself with a cappuccino or fish and chips once there.

The Steampacket Hotel is located just out of the Nelligen Village. It is a short drive. Though it is possible to walk there, it is not recommended. The hotel has a bistro and wood-fired pizzas.  View their Facebook page.
