It's obvious that Wendy and Peter are experienced travellers and hosts. They put so much thought into making the cottage comfortable for guests and we felt very welcome and at home. There were many little surprises and thoughtful treats, quality linen and toiletries. There was nothing we needed that we didn't have and the bed is fit for royalty. The cottage is super comfy and private and the setting is very special.

A beautiful location right on the river, with a bunch of little spaces to appreciate it from - everything has been beautifully planned and implemented with both a flair for 'quirk', and a quality in inclusions. We had absolutely everything we could have wanted - nothing was amiss. Have recommended to friends already!!

“We stayed here for 6 nights and I can honestly say WOW it completely exceeded our expectations. I’ve stayed in many Airbnb properties but none have ever had such thoughtful extras such as Wendy and Peter’s cottage.

Check-in was easy, the space is so tidy. There were so many little extras such as milk, juice, ice cream, Nespresso coffee etc. Shower is lovely and the bed is very comfortable. Hosts are lovely and extremely quick to respond to any messages but leave you with all the privacy you need.

The jetty is great for fishing, hanging out and relaxing in the evenings. Definitely recommend. I’m sure we will be back one day. Thanks Peter and Wendy.”

– Katie, Australia

“Couldn’t believe how lucky we were to be staying in such a flash, quirky, comfortable, and beautiful environment. This Cottage has everything you need to make your stay a memorable one.

Thank you to Peter and Wendy for everything you did and have done for your guests.”

– Jeff A, Australia

“The best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at. Peter and Wendy were the most thoughtful hosts.

We had a very comfortable stay, the place was magical, we loved fishing and sunbathing on the jetty, and the morning kayak through the Clyde River was beautiful. Thanks, guys!”
